Serbia bombed to create first NATO state in the world

Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica stated that it is more than obvious now that the ruthless destruction of Serbia during the 1999 NATO bombing was carried out with one goal and that is to turn the province of Kosovo-Metohija into the first NATO state in the world.
In a written statement on the anniversary of the beginning of the NATO bombing of Yugoslavia, Kostunica stressed that the illegal construction of the huge US military base Bondsteel and Annex 11 of Ahtisaari’s plan, which envisages that NATO is the ultimate authority in Kosovo, show us why Serbia was recklessly ravaged and why a NATO state was illegally proclaimed on February 17.
Serbia is a free country and what more can a free people and a free country say only that Kosovo is Serbia, said the Prime Minister and noted that the policy of force which is being carried out against Serbia is blind and short-lived and just like any other force that came to the Balkans it too will pass away.
According to him, a huge number of states and the largest portion of mankind have not recognised the first NATO state, but they recognise Serbia within its rightful and internationally recognised borders.
Serbia is on the side of the law and that is the truth which the majority of countries respect, said the Prime Minister.
