Serbian President Boris Tadic dissolved parliament this morning and called snap elections for May 11.
Pursuant to Article 109, paragraph 5, of the Serbian Constitution, and pursuant to Article 21 of the Law on President of the Republic and following a
Serbian government proposal, Tadic passed a Decree on dissolving the parliament which was elected on January 21, 2007.
Pursuant to Article 109, paragraph 6, of the Serbian Constitution, the Serbian President made a Decision to call elections for deputies to the Serbian parliament for May 11, 2008, the President’s press service announced.
