Formation of international group for implementing Ahtisaari’s plan gross violation of international law

Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica said that the illegal formation of an international administrative group in Vienna today to implement Ahtisaari’s plan for Kosovo-Metohija grossly violates international law, Security Council Resolution 1244 and the Serbian Constitution.
“This one sided and illegal international administrative group has put Peter Feith in the nonexistent office of international civil representative.
It is necessary that UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, who is responsible for the implementation of Resolution 1244, announces and informs who, when and on what legal grounds the decision was made to form this self-declared international administrative group and appoint an international civil representative for implementing Ahtisaari’s plan.
This is about the overt policy of force and harshest legal violence against Serbia which is a member of the UN and to which the UN Charter must be applies. The daily violence which is increasingly being perpetrated against Serbia must stop now,” concluded the Serbian Prime Minister’s written statement.
