According to data of the Serbian Electoral Commission (RIK) stated at midnight, in the presidential run-off held yesterday Democratic Party’s Boris Tadic won 50.57% or 2,257,105 votes while Serbian Radical Party’s Tomislav Nikolic got support of 47.33%, i.e. 2,129,403 votes.

These results are based on 98.8% of the processed electorate.
RIK President Sonja Brkic stated that two complaints have been submitted but they could not influence election results.
Brkic announced that the RIK will hold a session today.
The RIK said that 67.23% of registered voters cast their ballots yesterday.
