Reconstructed ward in Sombor hospital opens

Serbian Minister of Health Tomica Milosavljevic opened today the reconstructed gynaecology ward at the Radivoj Simonovic hospital in Sombor.
Milosavljevic said on the occasion that the hospital in Sombor sets a good example in using loans from the European Investment Bank (EIB) in the right manner.
The hospital in Sombor was reconstructed within the project “Emergency Reconstruction of Twenty Hospitals in Serbia”, which was financed by the EIB. Funds worth €20 million were spent on construction works, and more than half a million euros were used to secure diagnostic equipment. All works envisaged by the contracts were completed on September 10.
