Minister of Science, Technological Development and Innovation Academician Bela Balint spoke today with Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Serbia Syed Faraz Hussain Zaidi about concretising cooperation between the two countries in the field of innovation and science.

Great room for deepening cooperation with Pakistan in field of science

Balint assessed that there is room for concretising and strengthening bilateral cooperation in these areas, stating that another opportunity for its development is Expo 2027, which will present the world’s greatest achievements in the field of innovation.
The Ambassador presented the network of universities and institutes in Pakistan, as well as the Pakistani scientific and technological system.
Pakistan sees significant scope for cooperation with Serbia, with a focus on joint development through linking science and technology parks, institutes and incubators, he said, and proposed launching joint projects, establishing workshops and similar joint activities of mutual benefit.
During the conversation, emphasis was placed on the areas of artificial intelligence, digitalization, robotics, biotechnology, and the interlocutors proposed signing a memorandum that would clearly define this cooperation.
