The sixth ministerial conference "Environment for Europe" continued today with a campaign "Let's plant trees", in which Serbian Minister of Environmental Protection Sasa Dragin and five host ministers of the previous ministerial conferences planted six trees in the Park of Friendship in New Belgrade.

On the second day of the conference which is being held in Sava Centre, topics that will be discussed are outlooks of south-eastern Europe in the environmental protection, partnership, ecological financing, and the environmental situation in Serbia and Montenegro.
The conference gathers ministers and representatives of environmental ministries from over 50 countries, as well as representatives of international organisations, more than 200 NGOs and many local and foreign media.
The first ministerial conference "Environment for Europe" was held in 1991 in the castle of Dobris in the then Czechoslovakia.
