Cooperation of Serbia, Great Britain in field of defence

Serbian Assistant Minister of Defence Dusan Spasojevic and British Minister of State for the Armed Forces Bob Ainsworth agreed during today's meeting in London that cooperation between Serbia and Great Britain in the field of defence is developing positively.
Great Britain is giving a special contribution to that cooperation by educating Serbian army officers in British institutions and also by providing Serbia considerable assistance in the reform of the defence system.
Spasojevic informed Ainsworth with Serbia's position on the future status of Kosovo-Metohija.
With today's meeting, Spasojevic wrapped up the three-day visit to Great Britain.
He told Tanjug news agency that this visit was very useful and that despite differences of opinion concerning the status of Kosovo-Metohija, there is a lot of room for intensifying cooperation.
His British collocutors expressed London’s readiness to support Serbia's European integration.
