Construction of Horgos-Pozega highway starts in two months

Serbian Minister of Infrastructure Velimir Ilic announced today in Gornji Milanovac that the construction of the Horgos-Pozega highway will start within two months.
In a meeting with company directors and presidents of local communities in Gornji Milanovac, Ilic said that the municipalities which will be covered by the highway must resolve property and legal relations and not to allow temporary construction on the land planned for the highway.
He warned that the Ibar main road became the Serbian traffic section of death and that therefore it is necessary to build a highway that will take on the vehicles from Sandzak and Western Serbia.
The Ministry of Infrastructure will approve additional funding for construction of roads in mountainous areas, the Minister announced and added that works in Srezojevci, Galic, Suvi Bor region and Brdjani can start soon.
