Serbian Minister of Youth and Sports Snezana Samardzic-Markovic, Serbian State Secretary for sport Vljako Senic and Serbian Assistant Minister Aleksandar Sostar visited today the Serbian national football team in the Kovilovo Sports Centre on occasion of the upcoming qualification match for the European championship in 2008.

Samardzic-Markovic wished Serbian footballers success in the match against Finland which will be played in Belgrade on Saturday, and announced that she will be among the crowd cheering for them at the Red Star stadium.
She stressed that Serbian footballers promote values in their game which should be accepted in all spheres of social life and together with representatives of the Serbian Football Federation she announced that the clampdown against violence at sports events will be continued.
The Minister, accompanied by Senic and Sostar welcomed the coach of the team Javier Clemente, who due to injury, joined his team today in preparations, and wished him success and luck in further work.
