Serbian Minister of Infrastructure Velimir Ilic said today that the concession contract construction of the Horgos-Pozega highway, which is the largest investment in the history of Serbia, will initiate investments in domestic economy and the development of the Serbian economy.
In a statement to the news agency Beta, Ilic said that this document is completely transparent and public and is of great importance for Serbia, since 28 branches of economy are connected to road construction.
He specified that the Horgos-Pozega highway will be a modern highway under concessions. The Minister added that the land around it, which with accompanying buildings will not be under concessions, will certainly be leased and sold through tender.
Ilic said that within a month and a half two more tenders will be announced for two new highways in Serbia, whose construction will create new jobs.
