Vice president of the Coordinating Body for Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja Nenad Popovic visited today the south of Serbia and met with municipality presidents of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja Nagip Arifi, Ragmi Mustafa and Slobodan Draskovic.
During the meetings, the officials discussed current economic problems and Popovic presented the body’s organisation and programme of work.
Popovic expressed satisfaction with the current security situation and described it as stable despite isolated incidents lately.
The meetings also discussed privatisation and Serbian government programmes for investment in the economy of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja which will be financed from the National Investment Plan.
Popovic also expressed expectation that reorganisation of the Coordinating Body’s work will result in welfare of citizens. He announced that efficiency will be increased by forming teams for security and judiciary, economic development and infrastructure, integration and social policy.
Popovic also visited the mineral water bottler Heba in Bujanovac.
