Financial part of Horgos-Pozega concessions contract not to be displayed on government’s website

Director of the Serbian government’s Office of Media Relations Milivoje Mihajlovic said today that the concessions contract on construction, use and maintenance of the Horgos-Pozega highway with annexes will be shortly displayed on the Serbian government’s official website, but without the financial part and documents which if made public could create obstacles in realisation of the project.

In a written statement Mihajlovic stated that the contract with annexes will be displayed on the government’s website when it reaches the Office of Media Relations in an appropriate form.

He recalled that the government yesterday brought a decision at its session to display the contract with annexes on the website of the government, apart from documents which have a bearing upon the obligations of the concessioners towards financial and other institutions, as well as documents which, if made public, could create obstacles in the realisation of the projects.

The government also entrusted the Ministry of Infrastructure to prepare this document for publication in cooperation with representatives of the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Economy and Regional Development, Minister without Portfolio Dragan Djilas and with participation by representatives of concessioners, explained Mihajlovic.
