Dinkic explained that young people up to 25 years of age will be able to compete for a loan in the amount between €5,000 and €15,000.
The annual interest rate for these loans will be 1% with a 12 month grace period and a repayment period from three to five years, Dinkic specified.
If the project is successful, the loaner will repay installments to the state regularly, whereas in the case of default, the state will take over the purchased equipment, according to Dinkic.
Dinkic said that the second group of loans are those amounting to between €15,000 and €30,000 for those of older age who want to start a new business, but they will have to place a 1:1 mortgage.
Entrepreneurs who registered their firms after January 1 this year can submit loan entries no later than September 15, he said.
Serbian Minister of Youth and Sports Snezana Samardzic-Markovic also addressed those present in the Vojvodina Chamber of Commerce and said that providing loans for young people is one of efficient ways to prevent the brain drain not only abroad but also to bigger cities.
Director of the Agency for the Development of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises Dejan Jovanovic announced that 600 best business projects will be financed this year as part of the envisioned start up credit line.
