Reconstruction of the five-kilometre long section was financed by the Czech Republic which set aside RSD 1.5 million as part of the foreign development cooperation programme.
Ilic told the press that the Serbian government has set aside a portion of the funds for the reconstruction of roads in the Bela Crkva municipality and announced new investments there.
He added that major investments will be in infrastructure, whereas RSD 10 million will be allocated for the reconstruction of facades of religious facilities in this municipality.
Churches to have their facades renovated are the Catholic Church of St Ana, built in 1806, and the Orthodox Church of St Peter and Paul, built in 1804. Five million dinars will be set aside for each church, said Ilic.

Ambassador Jestrab and representatives of the Bela Crkva municipality signed agreements for three new projects which will be financed from the Czech Republic’s foreign development cooperation programme, which is worth €11.5 million and will be implemented in the period 2006–2009.
According to Jestrab, the projects are worth several thousand euros each and the works will be concluded by year’s end.
Jestrab announced that the Czech Republic is ready for new investments which may begin next year and invited representatives of the Bela Crkva municipality to propose new projects.
