Contract on concession to be made public when concessionaires give green light

Director of the government’s Office of Media Relations Milivoje Mihajlovic stated today that the concession contract on the construction of the Horgos-Pozega highway will be put up on the government website when concessionaires consent to that.
In a statement to the Beta news agency, Mihajlovic said that Deputy Prime Minister Bozidar Djelic is in charge of communication with concessionaires because of Article 24 of the aforementioned contract which envisages a ban on its publication without consent of all signatories.
The Deputy Prime Minister has already sent a letter to concessionaires asking their permission and the answer is expected shortly, said Mihajlovic adding that the concession contract will eventually be published.
Speaking about whether it might happen that concessionaires insist that the contract remains secret, Mihajlovic said he believes that the documents will be made public as there is nothing contestable in it.
