Parliament adopts amendments to Law on civil servants

Serbian parliament has adopted today the Law amending the Law on civil servants under which the deadline for appointment of civil servants is prolonged until May 1, 2008.
The regulation was supported by 131 MPs, five were against whereas 11 did not vote.
Under the changed bill, only citizens of Serbia can be appointed as civil servants.
