Popovic opens works on gasification of Smederevo

Serbian Minister of Mining and Energy Aleksandar Popovic opened works on gasification of Smederevo today. The total worth of the project is nearly RSD 80 million.
In the first phase a gas supply will be available to 3,000 households, and the cost of the connection will be €1,000 in dinar counter value.
It is expected that the first phase of gasification of Smederevo will be completed by the end of the year, and the contractor is the company from Blac “Telekomunikacija”, while the investor is the public gas company “Srbijagas”, Novi Sad.
The measure-regulation station “Tvrdjava” has also begun working, which has enabled a gas supply through the 13 kilometre long main gas pipeline, which is the part finished so far in the project of the 20 kilometre long pipeline.
