Best health centres in 2006 get awards

Serbian Minister of Health Tomica Milosavljevic handed over awards to best ranked health centres in Serbia in 2006 and over 150 primarius diplomas to specialists.
The award in the total amount of RSD 1.5 million was granted to eleven health centres in settlements with less than 50,000 citizens and five health centres with over 50,000 citizens.
The Minister also used the occasion to present his team, including state secretaries Nevena Karanovic and Tomislav Stantic, special advisor Snezana Simic and assistants Ivana Mihic, Elizabet Paunovic, Ruzica Nikolic, Goran Minic and Zorica Pavlovic.
He announced an investment of nearly €500 million in the health sector in the next four years and added that health budget has been increased 27 times since 2001, which is why patients rightfully expect results.
