Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vuk Jeremic continued his visit to Moscow today and met with Deputy Duma Speaker Valentin Kuptsov who voiced Duma members’ support for Serbia as regards resolution of the Kosovo issue.

Jeremic told the press following the meeting that he briefed Kuptsov on the Serbian government’s position on the matter and added that the Russian Duma is undivided in its support of Belgrade’s stance.
Jeremic told Kuptsov that he is devoted to establishing strong institutional cooperation between the Serbian and Russian parliaments.
Though there are four political parties whose political positions differ, when it comes to Kosovo-Metohija all of them endorse Serbia and what President Vladimir Putin also advocates, said Kuptsov.
He added that there have never been any “stains” in the relations between their countries and voiced support of stronger cooperation between the countries’ parliaments.
The Serbian foreign minister will meet today with a member of the Russian Orthodox Church’s Holy Synod and representative of the Moscow patriarchate Metropolitan Kliment.
