A total of 146 parliament members voted for Tamara Stojcevic and 84 voted against.

Serbian parliament postponed the enforcement of the Code on criminal procedure until December 31, 2008. Members of the Serbian Radical Party and the Socialist Party of Serbia did not take part in the voting, and the proposal for postponement was accepted with 146 votes.
The Code was adopted last May and has been partially enforced since January 1, 2007. It was supposed to be fully enforced on July 1.
Its enforcement has, however, been postponed since the necessary material and technical conditions for the introduction of prosecuting investigation have not been fulfilled.
