Kostunica prime minister-designate of new government

Director of the Serbian government's Office of Media Relations Srdjan Djuric confirmed late today that Vojislav Kostunica will be the prime minister-designate of the new government of Serbia.

Djuric told the Tanjug news agency that the Democratic Party, the coalition consisting of the Democratic Party of Serbia and the New Serbia and G17 Plus have reached an agreement and that Serbia will get a government, with which the formation of all institutions of the system will be completed.
He said that the formation of the Serbian government will significantly contribute to stability and progress of Serbia in the upcoming period.
