Serbian parliament MPs appointed today deputy speakers: Natasa Jovanovic from the Serbian Radical Party (SRS), Radojko Obradovic from the Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) and Milutin Mrkonjic from the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS).

SRS and DSS candidates got 137 votes whereas the SPS candidate was supported by 137 deputies.
Parliament can appoint six deputy speakers so parties that have not suggested their candidates can do so.
Members of 30 parliament committees were appointed today. The committees comprise only MPs of SRS, DSS and SPS.
MP of the Roma Party Srdjan Sajin, who is not member of any caucus, was appointed member of the poverty reduction strategy. SRS gave Sajin this seat and he will also be member of the committee for interethnic relations.
Marko Danilovic has been re-elected for secretary of parliament with 138 votes.
After closing the sitting today, parliament speaker Tomislav Nikolic announced that MPs will be informed when the sitting will be resumed.
