Sahovic said at a press conference that the Memorandum will be signed in April, at a meeting of the Council of foreign ministers of BSEC countries, when Serbia gives over its chairmanship to Turkey.
He explained that the purpose of the Draft memorandum is to improve and develop cooperation between diplomatic academies and institutes of BSEC member states, with the aim of securing better education and training of diplomatic staff.
This document envisages various forms of cooperation of diplomatic academies, such as exchange of information on the application of new teaching methods, exchange of professors, lecturers and students, organisation of conferences and specalised courses and seminars, as well as making joint research and projects.
Directors and rectors of diplomatic academies and institutes within the foreign ministries of Albania, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Greece, Armenia, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Turkey and the Ukraine participated in the work of the conference which was held yesterday and today in Belgrade.
