The Serbian delegation comprised Minister of International Economic Relations Predrag Bubalo, Deputy Minister of International Economic Relations Vlatko Sekulovic, Adviser to the Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Mirko Paunovic, Assistant Minister of Economy Milan Josipovic, Assistant Minister of Finance Vesna Dzinic, and Adviser to the NBS Governor Mira Eric.
According to a statement from the Serbian Ministry of International Economic Relations, “the situation with Zastava and Fiat is clear, and there is a cautious optimism that the issues will be resolved in a short time.” The relations between Sartid and Duferco is a bit more complex issue due to the circumstances under which their business cooperation took place, reads the statement.
The ministry also said that the Italian government has unfrozen the aid to our country and that documentation on a €34 million credit line for small and medium sized enterprises is in preparation. Consent for a €16 million aid package for Serbia’s health, education, and agriculture sectors is also expected very soon, according to the statement.
