Serbian food makers to be presented in Berlin at Green Week

State Secretary at the Serbian Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Danilo Golubovic announced today that Serbia will participate at the Green Week fair in Berlin, which begins on January 18.
He said that the Ministry delegation will meet with agriculture ministers of several European countries to discuss promotion of agricultural cooperation.
He recalled that representatives of the Ministry and Serbian food makers, in cooperation with the Serbian Investment and Export Promotion Agency (SIEPA), participated in nine prestigious food fairs in 2006.
The fairs included Green Week in Berlin, Fancy Food in New York, World Food in Moscow and SIAL in Paris, he said.
These presentations resulted in contracts worth over €40 million as well as numerous contacts, Golubovic said and added that the Ministry will continue to work on promotion of export opportunities for Serbian food makers.
