Zoran Stojkovic
Following two hours long telephone talks with citizens, Stojkovic reiterated that the key problems in judiciary are inefficiency, slow procedures and corruption.
He said that one of the problems is inadequate systemic control which should pressurize judges to work, and added that citizens complain of corruption, but in majority of cases the problem is inexpert and inadequate work.
According to Stojkovic, the Ministry of Justice, acting as supervisory authority, will demand from courts to conclude their procedures within reasonable deadlines.
The Minister expressed satisfaction with the work of special prosecutors for organized crime and war crimes Slobodan Radovanovic and Vojislav Vukcevic, and added that agreement has been reached with them on securing additional work space.
