Bubalo hailed the stop of the protest of the Kragujevac weapon makers and stressed that representatives of the Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of International Economic Relations have been taking steps in order to find the best solution for export of weapons. Bubalo also noted that talks with numerous international partners have been held.
He expressed assurance that a solution will be found not only for the number of weapons produced in Zastava Oruzje, but also that new export perspectives will be opened.
As we have done so far, we will continue to work on solving problems of production, but we will also create conditions for a considerable increase in weaponry export.
The trade union assembly in Zastava Oruzje accepted government’s proposal to start negotiations and stopped a four-day protest.
