Three new hospitals in Kosovo-Metohija to be opened

State Secretary of the Serbian Ministry of Health Nevena Karanovic announced today on her visit to the health centre in Kosovska Mitrovica the opening of three new hospitals in Kosovo-Metohija.
She stressed that the opening of new hospitals in Kosovo-Metohija will be financed from the National Investment Plan.
Karanovic noted that the Ministry of Health will set aside funds for equipment in the Kosovska Mitrovica health centre next year.
She pointed out that RSD 4.5 billion is set aside annually for the health system in Kosovo-Metohija and added that the Serbian health system finances salaries for 6,898 workers employed in Kosovo-Metohija health centres.
