The award for the best corporate brand in all categories of goods was won by “Grand Prom” from Belgrade, the second place was taken by “Carnex” from Vrbas, and “Metalac” came third.
The award for the best trade mark went to “Gorki List” from Subotica, the second place was won by “Carlsberg Serbia” from Celarevo for “Lav Pivo”, and the third place was taken by “Voda Voda” from Gronja Toplica for the trade mark of the same name.
This year for the first time awards for best foreign brands, either produced in Serbia or those which have contributed to Serbian economy, were also given. Award winners include “Henkel Merima”, “Messer Technogas”, “Metro Cash and Carry”, “Merkator S” and Raiffeisen Bank.
Award winners according to categories of goods are “Voda Voda”, “Grand Prom”, “Pivara MB”, “Gorki List”, “Carlsberg Serbia”, “Zorka Kolor”, “Duga”, “Florida Bel”, “Todor”, “Galenika”, “Ekosan”, “Carnex”, DIN tobacco factory Nis, “Metalac”, “Ikarbus”, “Bane”, Novi Sad Fair and Serbian public road company “Putevi Srbije”.
In the services group, award winners are “JAT Tehnika”, “Komercijalna Banka”, “Dunav Osiguranje”, DDOR Novi Sad, Transportation Institute CIP, clinic “Belmedik” and “Prograd Security”.
In the category of small and medium-sized enterprises award winners include the restaurant “Frans” and company “Flores”, while special awards were presented to “Nis Express”, “Sila”, “Agroziv”, “Juhor”, “Telefonija”, “Dallas”, “Furvita” and hotel “Balkan”.
Speaking on the occasion, Dimitrijevic said that companies were evaluated according to profit, successful business and export results, as well as the quality connected to recognisable trade marks and consumer loyalty, in which research by the agency GFK was used.
According to Dimitrijevic, price, quality, international standards and product design are also taken into consideration. He added that award winners from the pervious two years became leading companies not just in the domestic but also in the regional market.
