185th anniversary of the first district court in Serbia observed

Serbian Minister of Justice Zoran Stojkovic visited today the Pozarevac District Court on the occasion of the 185th anniversary of the first district court in Serbia founded in that city.
Stojkovic also inaugurated an exhibition of the Pozarevac History Archives on Serbian judiciary from 1804 to 1914.
Within the framework of the events which marked this event, a collection of fundamental decisions of departments and general sessions of the court of cassation compiled by Stevan Maksimovic in 1894 was presented, and district public prosecutor Dragan Petrovic spoke about the book.
Similarly, a solemn academy was held at which a film tilted “185 years since the founding of the first district court of Serbia in Pozarevac” was shown.
