At the invitation of members of the European and British parliaments, Serbian Assistant Minister of Interior Vladimir Bozovic is attending a three-day meeting "European gathering" in East Sussex, Great Britain.
On the first day of the meeting, Bozovic expressed great concern for drastic violation of human rights of Serbs and other non-Albanians in Kosovo-Metohija and pointed to the need of finding a compromise solution for the issue of Kosovo in line with the UN Charter, principles of international law, all European conventions and standards, and the newly adopted Constitution of Serbia.
Bozovic also spoke about the situation of human rights in Serbia and underlined that a significant progress has been made in recent years. He also presented the results of the police reform through the mechanism of internal police control.
The meeting is being attended by distinguished officials from European states who showed great interest in these topics.
During the first day of the event, Bozovic met with the Albanian State Attorney and members of the European and British parliaments, as well as with distinguished guests from the US.
