The average cost of living in November compared to October increased by 1%, whereas it increased 5.9% against December 2005. The discrepancy between the increase in the index of retail prices and the cost of living index was due to different impacts of growth in prices for individual items on the overall index.
Prices of agricultural products increased by 10.9%. The prices of vegetables and fruit are customary for this season, whereas the price of eggs increased.
The costs of industrial foodstuffs went up by 0.2% on average, in which sector an insignificant variation of prices was observed.
The prices of beverages in November went up by 0.5%, while prices of tobacco remained at the same level as last month.
The prices of non-food industrial products remained at the same level on average. This was mostly due to the reduction in prices of oil derivatives, whereas prices of other products did not see a significant change.
The prices of services increased by 1.5% on average.
