Assistant Minister of Interior Vladimir Bozovic is on official visit to Brussels, where he had working meetings with Chairman of the Standing Committee P in the Belgian parliament André Vandoren and inspector general of the Belgian police Luke Close.
Vandoren and Bozovic discussed continuation of successful cooperation which was launched in February this year when representatives of Standing Committee P visited the Inspectorate General (now Internal Control Police Sector).
Bozovic stressed the importance of the sixth European conference of heads of internal police control agencies recently held in Budapest.
Bozovic also had working meetings in the Council of EU, European Commission and Stability Pact for Southeast Europe, where he presented police reform and results of work in the Internal Control Police Sector.
He thanked the European Commission for mentioning the Internal Control Police Sector in its report on Serbia’s progress on its EU road and the necessity of its further development.
Bozovic continues his visit to Brussels on Wednesday, November 29, when he will attend a European prayer breakfast.
