The National Council for Cooperation with the International Criminal Tribunal for former Yugoslavia (ICTY) has stated that at its 37th session, held on November 23, it brought a decision on submitting comprehensive documentation in response to ten demands by the Office of the Prosecutor and on releasing one witness from the oath of secrecy in proceedings which are being conducted before the tribunal in The Hague.
The statement reads that a positive response has been given to 11 demands by defence of indictees which regarded provision of documentation necessary for preparing the defence of indictees before the tribunal.
The National Council will continue to respond in a timely manner to demands by the Office of the Prosecutor and the defence, aiming to realise complete cooperation and fulfil international obligations to the tribunal, concludes the statement.
