In his address, Macut emphasised that today is a significant day for Serbia, as it gains a new generation of young people who have chosen to dedicate their lives and knowledge to the service of the citizens and the state.
Your hard work, discipline, and sacrifices deserve our respect, Macut stated, congratulating everyone who successfully completed the training.
The Prime Minister wished them to never forget, throughout their careers, why they had chosen this vocation, to always be guided by the law, to regard honour as a duty, and to put people first.
The Prime Minister toured the Centre’s facilities, learned about the purpose of the tactical training house, and observed a tactical exercise performed by the trainees, as well as a demonstration by students from the Jakov Nenadović Secondary School of the Interior.
He told the young students of the Jakov Nenadović Secondary School of the Interior to be proud of the path they had chosen, noting that years of learning lie ahead of them, as well as the opportunity to grow into individuals whom Serbia would trust.
The Government of the Republic of Serbia will continue to invest in the education, training, equipment, and working conditions of police officers, because a safe Serbia begins with the capable, responsible, and honourable people who protect it, the Prime Minister emphasised.
