Macut emphasised the importance of this event for connecting the scientific, cultural and educational communities of Serbia and Republika Srpska, including the diaspora.
The Prime Minister highlighted the particular significance of the gathering, noting that scientists living and working outside Serbia and Republika Srpska will be involved in joint activities and have the opportunity to discuss cooperation prospects and the future direction of scientific, cultural and artistic thought.
Prime Minister of Republika Srpska Savo Minić stated that it is necessary to link the scientific potential of the diaspora with institutions and younger generations so that their knowledge can contribute to the development of both Republika Srpska and Serbia.
President of the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Republika Srpska Dragoljub Mirjanić underlined that the intention is to establish cooperation that would facilitate new initiatives in the field of doctoral studies and other scientific activities.
The one-day gathering of scientists from Serbia, Republika Srpska and the diaspora is being organised by the governments of Serbia and Republika Srpska, with the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Republika Srpska serving as the host.
