Prime Minister in a caretaker capacity Professor Đuro Macut, MD, DSc, opened the Office of the Regional Coordinator of the Prime Minister’s Office at Užice City Hall today, continuing a practice initiated with the opening of such offices in Vranje, Aranđelovac and Niš.

Macut announced the opening of these offices in other cities as well, stating that the government must stand with all citizens in the places where they live and work.
As the Prime Minister noted, the government will continue to implement a responsible and direct policy aimed at resolving specific problems faced by citizens.
Macut emphasised that the core purpose of these offices is to maintain direct contact with citizens and to link local self-governments with the relevant ministries, thereby facilitating simpler and faster problem resolution.
During conversations with the citizens of Užice, the Prime Minister stressed the importance of their knowing whom to turn to and being assured that the state would listen to them.
