Macut emphasised that the event preserves the tradition of the area, which, thanks to its wines, ranks among Serbia's most significant wine and tourism destinations.
While touring the exhibition stands and speaking with citizens, the Prime Minister stressed that the state serves as a strong pillar of support for winegrowers and winemakers and pledged to strengthen this support in the future.
The goal is for domestic wines to capture international markets to an even greater extent, thereby strengthening our agriculture and economy, he said, adding that Serbia today takes pride in the production and quality of its domestic wines, as evidenced by numerous accolades and awards won at international trade fairs.
Macut, who visited the event alongside President of the Municipality of Topola Jasna Vuković, thanked the local authorities for organising this prestigious event, which brought together enthusiasts of wine, grapes, tradition, culture, and folk heritage.
By preserving our tradition and culture, and by nurturing customs and long-standing events like this one, we show the entire world just how rich our Serbia is and how much we have to be proud of, the Prime Minister stated.
