Macut noted that the Science and Technology Park in Belgrade serves as the developmental heart of science in Serbia’s capital city, currently engaging 128 companies, while more than 260 have left their mark there.
The Prime Minister said that numerous innovative companies from various fields are present here, showcasing applied science at its best.
According to him, science and technology parks in Serbia demonstrate that the country has both the expertise and the talent to implement diverse innovative projects and that there is significant interest in their work from both domestic and foreign stakeholders.
Collaboration through science and technology parks needs to be further intensified. I strongly support the work of these parks and hope to see even more new initiatives soon, the Prime Minister stated.
Balint recalled that four developed science and technology parks are operating in Serbia – in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Niš and Čačak – adding that a park in Kragujevac is under development and that the Regional Industrial-Technology Park in Kruševac has been established this year.
