Gratitude to France for supporting Serbia's European path

Đurić assessed that relations between the two countries are extremely good, as evidenced by the continuous dialogue at the highest level, as well as numerous projects implemented so far in various areas.
In this context, he also recalled yesterday's meeting between Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić and President Emmanuel Macron in Paris, where the International Space Summit is being held.
Speaking about the situation in Kosovo and Metohija, the Minister pointed out the difficult position of Serbs, exposed to legal and physical violence by the temporary institutions there, while political representatives of Priština have for a long time essentially refused to continue the dialogue and fulfil their obligations through various obstructions and conditions.
In a review and exchange of views on the situation in the region, the head of Serbian diplomacy reiterated that Serbia is focused on the future, that it wants to continue contributing to stability, peace and cooperation in the Balkans, as well as to further strengthen reform efforts in the European integration process.
Đurić expressed gratitude to France for its continued support for Serbia on its path to EU membership, and especially for its advocacy for the opening of Cluster 3, emphasising that Serbia, in addition to fulfilling the European agenda, also offers creative solutions so that the citizens of our country can feel the benefits of the Union's enlargement as soon as possible.
