In a statement to the Tanjug news agency, Matic recalled that thanks to SIEPA, Serbia once more has its national stand at the Real Expo fair and that in the past three days a number of institutional investors, consultancies and private investors have made contact with Serbian representatives.
She added that they were most interested in real estate investments in Belgrade, and that US investors are well acquainted with Serbia's investment atmosphere and would like to invest in the country.
Matic specified that several hundred business contacts were made and that SIEPA held a panel discussion on investment possibilities in Serbia.
According to Matic, there were many investors at the panel discussion who stressed that "Serbia is an excellent investment opportunity" and that "Now is the right moment to invest".
She added that all large investment companies participate in the Real Expo fair, such as Price Waterhouse Coopers, as well as construction companies such as ABB and TriGranit.
To illustrate the importance of the Munich fair, Matic said that the city of Moscow stand occupies one half of the exhibition hall. Also presented at the fair are Madrid, Milan, Frankfurt and Duisburg, as well as regions and cities from Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Croatia and Slovenia.
At the Real Expo fair in Munich, that lasted from October 23 to 25, the municipalities of Vranje and Kragujevac were presented at a joint stand, as well as the Belgrade Directorate for the City Construction Land, companies MCP Properties, Atrium Consulting, Verano Invest and the office of attorneys at law Jankovic, Popovic and Mitic.
