The Serbian Statistics Office said that Serbia’s average salary in September, including taxes and contributions, amounted to 32,555 dinars, which is 1.42% and 1.52% higher in nominal and real terms respectively against the previous month.
The September 2006 take home-salary in Serbia amounted to 22,259 dinars, which is 1.52% and 1.62% higher in nominal and real terms respectively against August 2006.
The average salary paid out in September increased nominally by 21.39% and 9.66% in real terms year-on-year.
The average take-home salary in September 2006 was 21.34% and 9.61% higher in nominal and real terms against September 2005.
The nominal and real increase in the January-September 2006 period was 24.2% and 9.91% against the same period of 2005.
The average take-home salary in the January-September 2006 period increased by 24.23% and 9.94% compared with the same period last year.
