After touring the production facility and talking to the workers, the Prime Minister stated that he was proud that Serbia had managed to build a favourable business environment that is recognisable on the investor map.
Macut recalled that more than $1 billion was invested in the plant in Zrenjanin in the first phase, while for the second phase the company is planning an investment of €500 million, which makes Linglong one of the most significant foreign investors in Serbia.
The Prime Minister said that new investment phases, capacity expansion, additional employment have also been announced, which confirms the long-term trust of Linglong in Serbia, in its economic and political stability, predictable business environment and strong institutional support.
President of Linglong Wang Feng said that the company currently employs 2,100 people, invests in their training and development, and with the upcoming new phase in the development of Linglong in Serbia, the number of employees could increase to 2,600.
