Mesarović, who is on a multi-day working visit to the People’s Republic of China, said that Serbia sees its partnership with Hebei Province as cooperation at all levels and in various economic sectors, which started with the operations of HBIS.
During her working visit to China, the Deputy Prime Minister also met with Governor of Hebei Province Wang Zhengpu, with whom she discussed further enhancing economic cooperation and trade.
She emphasised that Hebei is one of the most economically important regions in China, with a population of more than 73 million, and is known for its significant industry and advanced technologies.
Mesarović presented five Serbian wineries to the hosts, introducing them to Serbian wines, which are absolutely competitive on the Chinese market – both in price and quality.
Today, she also visited the Shijiazhuang International Land Port in Shijiazhuang, in Hebei Province, where Serbian products dispatched less than a month ago from the intermodal terminal in Batajnica arrived.
The products, as she recalled, were sent during the visit of Governor Wang Zhengpu to Serbia and will be further distributed throughout this province.
She stated that Hebei Land Port Group, which is already planning major investments in Serbia this year and with whose work she became more familiar, also operates within this terminal.
