Joint police patrols with China result of good, friendly cooperation

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior in a caretaker capacity Ivica Dačić stated today that the launch of the second round of joint police patrols involving members of the Serbian Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Public Security of the People's Republic of China in Hainan Province represents another concrete result of the exceptionally good and friendly cooperation between the two countries, whose important aim is to enhance the safety of citizens and tourists.

Dačić noted that these joint patrols—the second of their kind—are taking place from 11 September to 24 September in the cities of Sanya and Haikou as part of the Safe Tourist Destination and Police Cooperation: Hainan 2026 project.

He explained that the goal is to contribute to the greater safety of Serbian tourists in China, as well as Chinese tourists visiting Serbia, through direct cooperation and the exchange of experiences.

In his assessment, such activities serve as further proof of the high level of cooperation between Serbia and China in the field of security.

Serbia and China share a sincere and solid friendship, and the cooperation between our ministries constitutes an important part of the overall relations between the two countries.

We will continue to strengthen this partnership and exchange experiences and knowledge in all areas of mutual interest, Dačić stated.
