Dačić and Karan emphasised that the ties of the Serbian people on both sides of the Drina River are enduring and strong, and that their enhancement is of particular importance for the future and security of the entire region.
Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of unified and responsible action in preserving peace, stability and institutional strength, as the foundation for further development and progress.
In that context, it was underlined that political stability, a clear development vision and responsible policy are key prerequisites for safeguarding national interests.
The interlocutors agreed that Serbia and Republika Srpska will continue to deepen cooperation and mutual trust, in the spirit of unity and the protection of national and state interests, guided by the principles of stability, respect and a long-term development vision.
At a meeting with Minister of the Interior of Republika Srpska Željko Budimir, Dačić assessed that cooperation between the two ministries is at a high level, and that there is scope for its further improvement through joint initiatives, training and activities of mutual interest.
The interlocutors pointed to the importance of preserving stability and security in the region, as well as the role that interior institutions play in that process.
It was concluded at the meeting that cooperation between the ministries of the interior of Serbia and Republika Srpska will be further intensified in the coming period, with the aim of enhancing the security of citizens and providing a more effective response to contemporary security challenges.
