The Serbian Privatisation Agency stated that on October 2, the tender commission for the sale of socially-owned Nis textile industry "Ratko Pavlovic" - Niteks, which is in the process of restructuring, publicly opened the bids for its purchase.
The tender documentation was purchased by four potential investors: "Irva Investicije" from Belgrade, "Broadhurst Investment Limited" from Cyprus, "Neon Jovden" from Macedonia and "Selected Textile Industries Association S.A. Acharnai" from Greece.
Two bids were submitted by the September 11 deadline: "Broadhurst Investment Limited", Cyprus and the Consortium "Irva Investicije" from Belgrade, "Jabuka" from Belgrade and Slavko Djordjevic.
On the basis of the documentation submitted, the tender commission concluded that both bidders fulfill conditions set in the public invitation for the purchase of 100% of the Niteks's capital.
The Privatisation Agency, in cooperation with an advisor, will make an evaluation of the bids within 30 days at most, after which the evaluation will be presented at the second session of the tender commission.
