Matic told a press conference that this investment will allow export of services from Serbia and will represent a first step in harmonising the Serbian economic structure with those of European countries.
She explained that this clearly shows that the Serbian workforce and infrastructure can be competitive on the global services market.
Matic expressed satisfaction with SIEPA being present from the very launch of this investment and noted that the use of modern communications such as VoiP and SkyP will make it possible for Serbia to become part of the global services industry.
Director of Comal Oliver Muller explained that German credit company Baufinanzirung-Bayern from Munich opened Comal's branch in Serbia, which will deal with giving earmarked credits for purchase of real estate to citizens from the German speaking countries - Austria, Germany and Switzerland.
Muller said that Serbia has an excellent and very motivated workforce, which was the main reason why Baufinanzirung-Bayern moved part of its business operations to Serbia.
He said that an agency offering marketing services is the first that has started working. The plan is to employ 50 workers by the end of this year and 150 by the end of the next, who will receive salaries according to German standards.
The company's specific quality is that it carries out all activities prior to the signing of the agreement by phone or via the Internet, with the help of modern communication systems, Muller said. He added that Baufinanzirung-Bayern issued 360 loans last year, worth €43 million, on the markets of Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
According to him, the company also intensively cooperates with constructors and real estate agencies.
