Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dačić talked today in Marrakesh with Inspector General of the Police Force of the Republic of Namibia Joseph Shimweelao Shikongo about the possibilities of improving cooperation between the police forces of the two countries in all areas of common interest.

At the meeting, held on the sidelines of the 93rd session of the Interpol General Assembly, Dačić pointed out that the two countries cherish traditional friendship, based on mutual respect and support in international organisations.
He expressed gratitude for Namibia's principled position on the issue of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Serbia, in accordance with international law.
The Deputy Prime Minister extended an invitation to Minister of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety and Security of Namibia Lucia Magano Iipumbu to visit Serbia with her associates.
